I moved to Spain after applying for the Digital Nomad Visa myself. Like many people, I started with too many tabs open: consulate pages, PDFs, forms, appointment systems, forums, and advice from people whose situations were not exactly like mine.
That experience is the reason I started writing about the process. I wanted to turn my own notes into something clearer for people who are trying to understand the visa, prepare their file, and set up life in Spain without feeling completely lost.
What I do
I work in software and product, so I naturally think in systems, flows, checklists, and user experience. That probably explains why Spanish admin became a strange personal project for me: I kept trying to make the process more understandable than it first looked.
Outside work, I love reading, running, and cycling. If you are in Madrid, you can probably find me around Parque del Oeste every now and then.
Why Spain
I like the rhythm of life here: the cities, the food, the public life, the slower days, and the feeling that life is not only about work. Spain is not perfect, and the paperwork can be tiring, but it has given me the kind of everyday life I was looking for.
Why this site exists
This site is personal. It comes from my own move, my own application, and the practical things I had to learn after arriving. I am still learning too, and I try to keep the material useful, honest, and grounded in real experience.
